Community Programs

Central Peninsula Hospital is committed to the health of the Kenai Peninsula community beyond the walls of our facility. We offer a variety of free and low-cost programs to promote wellness and education.

Programs & Events

  • Community Health Fair — Annual free health screenings, wellness education, and family activities
  • CPR & First Aid Classes — American Heart Association certified courses for the public
  • Childbirth Education — Classes for expectant parents (Lamaze, breastfeeding, infant care)
  • Diabetes Prevention Program — CDC-recognized lifestyle change program
  • Support Groups — Cancer, grief, cardiac rehab, and chronic illness support groups
  • Health Education Seminars — Regular talks on health topics from CPH providers
